Nigel Hartley

Nigel has over 30 years of experience that range from opening up the West Coast for a UK based professional services company, building a very successful network, serving as a Director of the US operation and being part of the transition team when they were acquired by a publically traded multi-national. He also was involved in an Ergonomics company that literally started in their garage and after a very successful growth including being in the Inc 500 for 4 years sold eventually to a publically traded multi-national. While in professional services he got to see the inner workings of literally hundreds, if not thousands of companies and got to interact with some of the brightest minds in business today. As an entrepreneur he learned, the hard way, how difficult it is to start a new company and make a success of it. He started Commonwealth Advisors in 2001 to provide Business Coaching and Advice and has since worked with a wide variety of businesses and executives in the North Bay and increasingly across the US. Nigel is a Certified Behaviors Coach, a CMT Senior Mentor, a Certified Career Coach, an Accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business, a OED Community Leader and lives in Santa Rosa with his wife of 37 years Brenda.

Nigel is active in the local community and is on the Board of Mentors at the Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster, The Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce Economic Vitality Committee and is a member of the North Bay Angels.
